The ancient Manor House in which Hotel Solar Palmeiras is located, was designed in 1899.
Turned into a hotel in 1994, it nowadays offers 34 suites, composed of a bedroom, a sitting room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped bathroom with a hairdryer, air-conditioning, The “Casa das Palmeiras” (House of the Palm Trees) is an old Mannor House, the Mansion of the Countess of Cuba, with project dated from 1899 by the Architect José Luis Monteiro (the author of the railway station of Rossio – Lisbon) and that was totally renewed, with total respect by the old structure, in order to convert it into a modern and functional Hotel, opened in 1994.
