The 3 stars hotel Merano, recently remodelled, within easy reach of the beach and the spa, is located in the beautiful Island of Grado, health-seaside resort of the North Adriatic Sea, which lies in the centre of a region with an old history and tourism, not far from Aquileia with the excavations and the roman harbour, Gorizia, Trieste and Redipuglia with its “Sacrario”.
You reach Grado through a street between sea and lagoon; Grado is a little town well known for more than a century for its thermal treatments (swimming pool with heated sea water 30°, whirlpool, massages and beauty treatments) and for the historical centre, the Basilica of Santa Eufemia and the Roman archaeological finds.
