Boat Hotel Fortuna

Boat hotel lies at anchor on the Pest side of the capital, next to the Margaret bridge, opposite Margaret Island. It is very easy to get along near the hotel and it has reserverd parking places for the guests coming by car in front of Szent István park, on the low-bund of Pest. Fortuna Boathotel and Restaurant can be reached in 15 minutes from all the major railway stations of Budapest and from all the international bus stations. The airport is situated only 40 minutes away from hotel. Trolleybuses 76 and 79 stop at Szent István park and trams 2, 4 and 6 stop at Jászai Mari square, enabling the guests to approach the hotel by public transportation.

An ample choice of services is available to guests. Restaurant Lord Nelson, where the buffet breakfast is served, is an ideal place for business lunches and family dinners during the day. Francis Drake Pub is a beer-house for people who like light entertainment and cafe is the home of quiet chats and snacks.

Youth hostel area: One of the floors on the boat is a designated youth hostel area with 14 rooms, 29 beds and common shower areas. There are 4 triple rooms, 7 double rooms and 3 single rooms. In each of the four shower rooms (2 for men, 2 for women), there are 3 showers and toilets as well. Breakfast is not included in the rate, but if you pay for it, you get the same quality breakfast that the other guests in the standard rooms are getting. Boat is the member of the Hungarian Youth Hostel Association since 2001, which means that the youth hostel area meets both Hungarian and international quality requirements.
