This hotel is excellent value set in a beautiful Georgian crescent overlooking lawns and tennis courts - conveniently located to the west end.
The Hotel consists of three Georgian houses built in 1807 for wealthy merchants and now converted into one building. The garden crescent in which the hotel is situated is named after John Cartwright, an advocate of parliamentary reform and universal suffrage who was the first Englishman openly to support the independence of the USA.
