Slightly further afield, the Eden Project is only a 10-minute drive from the guest house and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are only 7 minutes away. Some of Cornwall's most beautiful beaches are also within easy reach, including Porthpean, Charlestown, Carlyon Bay, Gorran, Meavagissey and Portmellon.

Parts of the building are believed to date back to the mid-19th century, including the attractive solid stone walls.
