There is hardly a town in Germany that is more charming and traditional than Rothenburg. In the historic part of this enchanting city you find the Kloster-Stueble, your romantic home for unforgettable moments.
According to the chronicles the house was built as early as 1534. Originally, during almost four centuries it served as a farmhouse until it was turned into an inn.
The Kloster-Stueble is located in the "Heringsbronnengasse". The name is derived from the medieval fountains in which the pickled herrings brought from the coast and stored in barrels were desalted and washed.
Directly behind the Kloster-Stueble you find the Castle Garden (Burggarten), a quiet park with a unique view over the town whose charter was granted in 1171 by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa.
The historical old town with its fountains, churches and half timbered facades but also the Castle Garden illuminated by night invites you to stroll around.
The close surroundings, as well, have their charms. Strolls and leisurely walks through the green Tauber Valley make your stay in town a relaxing one.
And when you want to have a bird's-eye view of it all, you can make sightseeing flights either in a hot-air balloon or a small plane..
Tenniscourts and golf courses are, of course, also available or you can enjoy a dip into the idyllically situated swimming-pool in a forest overlooking the Tauber Valley.
