Since 1977 the Restaurant Orphée has been a favorite among connoisseurs. This traditional inn with wainscotted walls still preserves the vintage looks from 1896 and is a cosy haven right in the heart of the 'medieval marvel' of Regensburg (or Ratisbon, as they called the town in the good old times), situated a mere three minutes' stroll from the gothic cathedral and the famous stone bridge across the river Danube.

In May 2005 hotel completed the renovation of the splendid baroque mansion adjacent to the Restaurant Orphée in the street called "Untere Bachgasse" and opened the "Grand Hotel Orphée" with its 31 sumptuous rooms.
