In the midst of the gentle rolling hills of the lower Taunus, surrounded by fields and woods and yet in the heart of the Rhine Main area lies the Hotel Hofgut Georgenthal.
Built in 1692 by prince August Samuel von Nassau-Idstein (1677-1721) as a tenth court, many owners followed, until in 1995 Heinz Hankammer bought the estate. Heinz Hankammers roots were in the area and true to family tradition he refurbished and restored the old buildings. Very aware of this tradition and it is the special conviction to create the personal and individual atmosphere you would expect from a family run 4*s hotel.
Hotel Hofgut Georgenthal was awarded "Member of Germany's Top 500 Hotels" in 2007 and 2008.
