The Hotel Seegarten in Ueberlingen on the shores of Lake Constance.
Portions of the foundation of the hotel have been found to be more than 750 years old and were part of the old fortifications of the town of Ueberlingen. In one of rooms guests can still view preserved remnants of wall paintings dating back to that time.
The Seegarten used to be a pub until 1932, at which time it was purchased by the Waldschuetz family.
The Seegarten's restaurant offers prize-winning cuisine featuring regional and national dishes. Looking out over the lake from beer garden with its chestnut trees, guests can enjoy a summer sunset while sipping a glass of local wine.
