The house of the hotel At The Three Drums (U tri bubnu)
was built in 15th century. It consist of two adjoining buildings. The complete renovation to a small comfortable hotel was finished in May 2002 (the left building) and in April 2003 (the right building).
The house is located in the historical centre of Prague in the street U radnice, only 50 metres from the Old Town Square, opposite to the house where once lived the writer Franz Kafka. The house itself is listed on the UNESCO heritage list. For its position is very popular among tourists from all over the world. Only with a 1 minute walk you get to the Old Town Square famous for its Astronomical clock, St Nicolas Church, Týn Church and lots of small cosy bars, clubs and restaurants. Close to the hotel there are also Old Jewish Cemetery, Spanish Synagogue with the Jewish Museum (2 minutes of walk), The Charles Bridge (5 minutes of walk), Lesser Town (15 minutes of walk), Prague Castle (30 minutes of walk) and rather modern Wenceslas Square(5 minutes of walk) with lots of shops, shopping centers, night clubs and discotheques.
