qHotel Federale was built in the early 1920's and is family owned and managed by the Galliker family. Over the years there have been many changes and renovations which have enhanced the hotel's unique charm and character.
The hotel is the perfect setting for both the holiday and business traveler. Hotel offer a restaurant with elegant simplicity, a bar for a relaxing evening toast as well as a fitness room equipped with a sauna and whirlpool. Limited meeting facilities are also available. For the safety of cars an underground parking garage has recently been added. All rooms have private baths with either a tub or shower, color TV and direct dial phones.
Hotel Federale is centrally located just a short walking distance from downtown Lugano with its breathtaking lakeshore and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many outside cafes. Although just a short three minute walk from the train station the hotel provides quiet rooms, many with a balcony view of Monte Bré or overlooking the town.
